PROMOTION EXERCISE FOR JUNIOR AND SENIOR STAFF

Applications are invited from qualified Senior and Junior Staff of the University for the January 2017 promotions. Requests for application forms should be directed to the Deputy Registrar, Division of Human Resource.

Application and Assessment Forms will be sent only to applicants who meet the criteria for promotion as outlined in the “PROMOTION PROCEDURES FOR SENIOR/JUNIOR STAFF OF THE UNIVERSITY” which has been circulated to Departments/Sections.

Call for Papers - 2nd International Conference of the Europa‐University Flensburg (Germany) and the University of Education, Winneba (Ghana) onImages of childhood and future: cross‐cultural perspectives

“Speculating about the future can be a useful way of assessing the present.“ (Arnett 2000) Two main goals of research on childhood and youth are: to reveal those social structures that affect the quality of children's and young peo‐ ple´s lives, and to develop approaches that help to improve their living conditions and future prospects. In this respect, childhood and adolescence are closely tied to the question of the future, on both an individual and a social level. But how do chil‐ dren and young people look into their future themselves?

Department of ICT Education and Oracle Partnership

The Department of ICT Education is now an Oracle Partner as a result of the department's participation in an Oracle Training Workshop organised by Oracle at the Korean Lab of the University of Ghana mid last year.

The 5-day training was attended by two Lecturers of the Department, Mr. Daniel Danso Essel and Ms. Esther Gyimah, who received certificates of participation in Database Design and Programming with SQL.
