2018 Ghana Geographers/Geography Teachers’ Association Annual Conference

Members of the University Community are invited to the Ghana Geographers Association / Ghana Geography Teachers' Association Annual Conference 2018 is scheduled as follows:

The theme for the GGA/GGTA Annual conference 2018 is “Geography – The Missing Link in Ghana’s Development Agenda?”. This theme is necessitated by the fact that in the overall scheme of Ghana’s development drive, the concept of Geography and Geographers seems to be relegated to the background, leaving a huge development gap and sustainability questions.

Matriculation of Fresh Sandwich Students (2017/2018 Academic Year)

The Matriculation of fresh Sandwich Students for the 2017/2018 academic year for the various campuses has been scheduled as follows:

  • Winneba campus:        Friday, 3rdAugust, 2018 @ 2:00pm
  • Mampong campus:      Saturday, 11th August, 2018 (Morning)
  • Kumasi campus:          Saturday, 11th August, 2018 (Afternoon)

The ceremony at Winneba campus will be held at Jophus Anamuah-Mensah Conference Centre, North Campus.

Seminar on Research Methods

The Institute for Educational Research and Innovation Studies (IERIS), in collaboration with Graduate School, UEW, invites all Ph.D, MPhil and M.Ed students to a seminar on Research Methods as well as a lecture on Indigenous Knowledge Systems scheduled as follows:

Special Exercise to Harmonise Course Codes

The Student Records Office would be undertaking a special exercise to harmonise course codes and see to their requisite mounting on OSIS within all campuses of the University from Monday, 16th July 2018 to Wednesday, 8th August 2018. Officers from the SRO would be visiting the various campuses as per the schedule provided to undertake this exercise. This special exercise would involve Departmental Examination Officers and Graduate Coordinators on all campuses.
