BEREAVEMENT

With a heavy heart, we officially announce to the University Community the sudden death of our illustrious Principal, Prof. Reynolds OkaiPrincipal of the College of Technology Education, Kumasi. The late Prof. Okai was taken ill while on official assignment in China, and unfortunately passed on yesterday, 18th February, 2018.

Seminars with Prof. Dr. Frank Kügler, University of Cologne

Prof.  Dr. Frank Kügler and his assistant from the University of Cologne will visit the College of Languages Education, Ajumako from February 21, 2018 to March 6, 2018 to host  series of seminars on the topic “Acoustic analysis of Speech Sounds of Ghanaian Languages using Praat” scheduled as follows:

Date: Monday, February 26, 2018 to February 28, 2018

Time: 8:30am each day

International Mother Language Day Celebration

International Mother Language Day is an annual event which is held on the 21st of February every year. It aims at promoting awareness of linguistic and cultural diversity, multilingualism, and peaceful co-existence of diverse language speakers. It does not only aim to promote the use of mother tongue, but also the recognition of the need for co-existence of different languages and cultures.

2017/2018 2nd Semester Registration Deadline Extension

The 2017/2018 2nd Semester registration deadline has been extended to Friday 16th February 2018.

Students who are yet to register are to do so on or before the 16th of February 2018. This is the Final deadline for registration after which any student who fails to register will have to pay a late registration fine of GH20.00 per day.

All other guidelines pertaining to registration remain the same.
