GROUP COUNSELLING LISTS NOTICE

The Counselling Centre wishes to inform all students that, Group Counselling sessions start from Tuesday, 7th March, 2017.

Counsellors will fix his/her own convenient meeting schedule to enable smooth running of the Group Counselling sessions.   Student should make their cell phone available for easy contact by their Counsellors.

Training of First Aiders

The Counselling Centre is recruiting  students who want to offer assistance to their colleagues in emergency cases in the halls and hostels as First Aiders.

All interested students will serve as backup to assist in Counselling service.  They will give First Aid to distress students in the Halls/Hostels during the night or weekends when the Centre is not operating.

Death on Trial by Daniel Appiah-Adjei

Bediako is on a quest to conquer death after his sister Akosua Obiaa’s numerous history of still birth. With this, death is summoned into the presence of Oboadea, creator of the universe, by life to explain his unjust way of killing. Will death be able to redeem himself or will Bediako be able to conquer death, his nemesis?

DEPARTMENT OF HISTORY EDUCATION_ASHIS ACTIVITIES FOR THE GHANA NATIONAL HISTORY DAY CELEBRATION

Each year the Department of History Education, University of Education, Winneba, sets aside a day in commemorating the independence celebration of Ghana, by way of the Ghana National History Day (GNHD) celebration. As Ghanaians remember their independence, the National History Day event is a call to all that our History is very important and should not be disregarded or forgotten. It is only in remembering the past that we can move ahead as a nation.

Soundflames - A Musical Event

As part of the Music Department's commitment to connect the University and its programmes to industry, Soundflames a musical event to be featured fortnightly by the department in collaboration with Bigshots Music has been introduced. The concept allows an industry player to interact with the university community through workshops and performances. The maiden show comes off with Bessa Simons and his Band on the 2nd of March, 2017 at the Central campus.
