2018 Graduands of the University of Education, Winneba and the general public are hereby informed that the second session of the 23rd Congregation for the award of degrees, diplomas and certificates to Regular and Sandwich students will be held as follows:

 

MAMPONG-ASHANTI CAMPUS

Venue: New Lecture Theatre

Tuesday 23rd April, 2019 @ 11:00 am

KUMASI CAMPUS

Venue: Ceremonial Ground

Wednesday, 24th April, 2019 @ 10:00 am

WINNEBA CAMPUS

Venue:Jophus Anamuah-Mensah Conference Centre

Friday, 26th April, 2019 @ 10:00 am

  • School of Graduate Studies
  • Faculty of Foreign Languages Education

 

Registration Procedure:

Graduands who wish to be presented should log on to UEW website: www.uew.edu.gh or

http://uew.edu.gh/graduation and provide the details required for registration. Registration commences on Monday, 15th April, 2019.

 

All graduands to note the following:

  1. Closing date for registration is Friday, 19th April, 2019 for all campuses. ONLY THOSE WHO HAVE REGISTERED WOULD BE PRESENTED. NO REGISTRATION WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER THESE DATES.
  2. Graduands should collect their academic gowns at the Faculty of Social Science Education block, North Campus-Winneba, Faculty Block-Kumasi Campus, DIS Conference Hall & Chapel-Mampong-Ashanti
  3. Graduands would be required to attend a rehearsal a day before the scheduled date for the Congregation at 2:00 p. m. at the various campuses.
  4. Dress code for the Congregation is formal, e. g. for gentlemen, a tie and a shirt preferably with a jacket. IMPROPERLY DRESSED PERSONS WILL NOT BE PRESENTED.
  5. Graduands should be seated at the Congregation grounds by 8:30am on the date of the Congregation in the academic dress appropriate to their Degrees/Diplomas/Certificates.
  6. Each Graduand may come along with two guests to the Congregation.
  7. There will be an accredited photographer covering the event and graduands may obtain copies of their photographs at a fee.
  8. A Congregation church service will be held on Sunday, 28th April, 2019 at the Winneba campus at 4:00pm and 9:00am at the Kumasi and Mampong-Ashanti campuses.
