Commemorating World AIDS Day

Ghana marks the year's World AIDS Day with the theme, "Test, Treat to Suppress and Stop New HIV infections" alongside the global theme of "Know Your Status"

In support of this, the University of Education, Winneba wishes to inform members of the University community of its commitment to making the University community HIV-free community. This is essential because a healthy community is a productive community.

Please join the fight against HIV/AIDS by encouraging each other to:

• abstain from sex if possible
• be faithful to our partners
• use condom
• get tested to know one's status
• get unto the therapy if tested positive
• avoid stigmatization and discrimination against people living with HIV/AIDS

In line with this, there will be free distribution of condoms to create awareness of protecting ourselves.
