Invitation to Workshop on Internationalisation at Uew

The Centre for International Programmes of the University of Education, Winneba is organizing a  Workshop on Internationalisation as follows:

Venue :           Anamuah-Mensah Conference Centre, UEW

Date    :           9:00 a.m. - 3.00 p.m.

At this workshop, we hope to engage the various sections of the University towards developing a comprehensive internationalization focus, policy and programme.  The workshop, would among other things:

• appreciate of the concept of internationalization in academic institutions;
• identify various sections of the University connected to internationalization and their resources and responsibilities;
• discuss suggestions for pursuing internationalization in UEW.

All people interested in issues of internationalization are cordially invited to participate

Facilitators

The workshop will be facilitated by the following:

Workshop Participants

Participants have been drawn from all academic departments on all campuses in order to widen the base of the initial discourse. Non-academic sections have also been invited to participate, as a way of encouraging further discussions on internationalisation in all sections of the university.

Discussion groups will be formed out of the participants. There will be six groups in all.
