Notice of Local Union Elections - UEW TEWU

Nominations are open for the election of UEW Local Executives of the Teachers and Educational Workers Union (TEWU). Eligible TEWU members are hereby invited to pick nomination forms from the Division of Publications and Communication.
The schedule for the election is as follows:

| Vetting of Candidates | Tuesday, 12th June, 2018 |
| Declaration of Nomination Result/Orientation/Balloting for positions | Friday, 15th June, 2018 at 10:00am |
| Campaign | Monday, 18th June, 2018 – Wednesday, 9th July, 2018 |
| Face-to-face/Reading of Manifesto | Thursday, 12th July, 2018 |
| ELECTIONS | Friday, 13th July, 2018 |
Any member seeking election into any TEWU Local Office must meet the following criteria:
- Should be a fully paid up member.
- Should be 18 years or above.
- Should be able to read and write.
- Must have served or been an employee of the University of Education, Winneba for NOT LESS THAN Four (4) continuous years.
Completed Forms should be sent to the Division of Publications and Communication.
