Opportunities for Study and Internship Abroad

This is to draw the attention of Students, Deans, and Heads of Department to the opportunities for our students to undertake part of their studies in foreign universities as part of the various programmes across our campuses. Study Abroad has been acknowledged as a very defining opportunity for many students, with a lot of influence on graduate success.

Beyond those given on scholarships, students could also undertake a semester abroad and internship abroad programmes on their own sponsorship, and UEW could arrange free tuition with its partners in Europe especially. The opportunities include:

• School Internship under the auspices of our foreign partners. For instance, our English and French students could undertake internship in our neighbouring Francophone countries upon our arrangement
• Semester-abroad study for undergraduates for one semester especially or sometimes a whole year
• Semester-abroad study for Graduate Students for Coursework
• Thesis writing fellowship for M.Phil and PhD Candidates
