Precautionary Measures Against COVID-19

The University community is hereby notified that the Covid-19 pandemic is not over and cases in Ghana are slowly rising again in a second wave. The following precautionary measures are therefore still in force and should be enforced against the spread of Covid-19:

• Wearing of face mask is mandatory at all places and premises on UEW campuses;
• Body contacts, including handshakes and hugs, should be avoided. Social distancing should be observed in all interactions;
• Hand hygiene measures must be practised at all times. As often as possible wash hands with soap under running water or use alcohol-based sanitizers.

By this notice, the Directorate of Security Services is to ensure that these precautionary measures are adhered to.
