The Management of University of Education, Winneba announces for the information of the University Community, the availability of the under listed scholarships:

1) FULL SCHOLARSHIP FOR DOCTORAL STUDIES AT THE UNIVERSITY OF ELECTRONIC SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY OF CHINA (UESTC)

A. INTRODUCTION:

The University of Education, Winneba (UEW) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC) on 8th March 2016. As part of the terms of the MoU, full scholarships are available to qualified and interested staff of UEW to study at UESTC at the Ph. D level. The scholarships cover the entire cost (tuition, accommodation, airfare, research grants, etc.) for the approved program duration of between 3 and 4 years. The scholarships are available in both English-instructed and Chinese-instructed programs.

A. INTRODUCTION:

The University of Education, Winneba (UEW) has reached an agreement with the Jiangsu University (JU) on 10th March 2016. As part of the terms of the agreement, full scholarships are available to qualified and interested staff of UEW to study at JU at the Ph. D level. The scholarships cover the entire cost (tuition, accommodation, airfare, research grants, etc.) for the approved program duration of between 3 and 4 years. The scholarships are available in both English-instructed and Chinese-instructed programs.

GENERAL INFORMATION FOR BOTH SCHOLARSHIPS

A. QUALIFICATION:

  • Be a confirmed staff (preferably senior member) of UEW

  • Be 40 years or below

  • Have capacity to complete a Ph. D program in a maximum of 4 years

B. MODE OF APPLICATION:

  • Expression of Interest: Submit name and area of interest to the Deputy Registrar, Human Resource, through your Dean

  • Final Application: Submit full application to the Deputy Registrar, Human Resource, through your Dean.
