Vacation Music Camp – 2018

The Department of Music Education, University of Education, Winneba is organizing a Vacation Music Camp during this long vacation.

It is an intensive training in Rudiments and Theory of Music combined with practical music-making activities for both adults and Children.

THE PROGRAMME IS OPEN TO:                                                     

1. Senior High and Technical School Leavers and Teachers who satisfy the minimum requirements for admission into UEW.
2. Choir Directors, Popular and Dance Band Musicians as well as Cultural Troupe Directors.
3. Children who want to learn to play particular instruments
4.  Others who desire to receive Basic Lessons in Music.

NB:  Participants with admission requirements can be considered for Diploma or Degree programmes in the main stream. Children who enroll for the programme will be prepared for ABRSM examinations.

DURATION

The programme will last from 4^th June to 20^th July, 2018.

AWARD

Successful participants will be awarded Certificates.

REGISTRATION

Prospective participants should purchase Registration Forms at the cost of sixty Ghana Cedis (GH¢60.00) from the Accounts Office of the School of Creative Arts, UEW, Central Campus.

PARTICIPATION FEES

Participants will pay Six Hundred Ghana Cedis (GH¢600.00) to cover the cost of the Training during the Vacation Music Camp.
