FASU Committee Appoints Steve van Kamassah as Member

The Deputy Registrar in-charge of the Division for Publications and Communication at the University of Education, Winneba, Steve van Kamassah, has been appointed to serve on the Federation of Africa University Sports (FASU) Committee for Marketing, Strategic Partnership, Media and Communication (CMSPMC) for a period of two years (March 2017 to March 2019).

The appointment was conveyed in a letter signed by FASU President, Dr. Malumbete Ralethe, dated January 1, 2017 indicating the roles and responsibilities of the committee.

Distinguish yourself to sell yourself: Business students urged

 

The Chief Executive Officer of Crystal Continental Consult and President of Crytal-Add Youth Foundation, a Non-Governmental Organisation, Mr. Daniel Addo, has urged students of the Department of Business Education in the University of Education, Winneba to distinguish themselves, know what employers are looking for, develop effective communication skills, establish professional and career life, as well as motivation and drive behind their career goals to sell themselves to prospective employers.

THE USE OF TELEGRAM SOFTWARE IN VIRTUAL LEARNING

The workshop is organised for Part-Time Lecturers of Winneba study centre on the use of telegram software in virtual learning. This has become necessary owing to the challenges that Lecturers and students face due to the late delivery of learning modules and inability to complete the modules within the stipulated time frame.

COLTEK organises orientation for new lecturers

Ten lecturers who were recently appointed and posted to various departments in the College of Technology Education, Kumasi (COLTEK) of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) have undergone a day’s orientation. The March 13, 2017 event was used to equip the new lecturers with requisite knowledge on how things work at UEW so as to enable them offer effective and efficient services to their students at the University.
