UEW Ajumako campus holds Matriculation for 2017/18 Fresh students

The College of Languages Education, Ajumako Campus of University of Education, Winneba, on Wednesday 18th October, 2017 held a matriculation ceremony, for all fresh undergraduate and postgraduate students who have gone through all the necessary admission requirements and registration processes. The Campus hosts the Faculty of Ghanaian Languages Education.

UEW to Host 2018 Annual General Meeting of IPR, Ghana

The University of Education, Winneba has secured the hosting right to organise the 2018 Annual General Meeting of the Institute of Public Relations, Ghana (IPR). The University was given the mandate to host the forum due to the outstanding commitment and dedication of IPR members on its campus. Currently, UEW has five members who are in good standing with the Institute. This comprises: Three Accredited members, One Associate member and One Affiliate member.

UEW Purchases New 68 Seater Bus for Students

The University of Education, Winneba has added a 68 seater bus to its fleet of vehicles. Receiving keys to the bus, the Acting Vice Chancellor said the additional bus is meant to further improve the University transport system and lessen the burden staff and students face when large numbers of people are to be transported.

The Head of Transport Section, Mr. Alvin Andoh who witnessed the ceremony indicated that the new bus has increased the number of 68 seater buses in the University to four.

WEEKLY SCHEDULE FOR GROUP COUNSELLING

 

Students are to kindly take note that the Group Counselling for this Semester begins from 23rd October to 6th December, 2017 thus, fromMonday to Wednesday in every week. The venue for Mondays and Wednesdays is the Conference Room at Pecku building and that of Tuesdays is at the Dem Theatre of the Home Economics Department. All should endeavor to be there on time.
