The Student Records Office would be undertaking a special exercise to harmonise course codes and see to their requisite mounting on OSIS within all campuses of the University from Monday, 16th July 2018 to Wednesday, 8th August 2018. Officers from the SRO would be visiting the various campuses as per the schedule provided to undertake this exercise. This special exercise would involve Departmental Examination Officers and Graduate Coordinators on all campuses.
Staff of the College of Languages Education (CoLANGE), Ajumako of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW), has been urged to write for grants to support research and also raise money to support activities of the College. The Principal of CoLANGE, Prof. Ephraim Avea Nsoh made this call when he opened a workshop on Grant Proposal writing on Tuesday, 26th June, 2018.
The Faculty of Ghanaian Languages Education organised a Faculty Retreat from 14th -16th June, 2018 at the Manna Heights Hotel, Mankessim under the theme, “Three years as a Faculty; Assessing the teaching and research skills of the Faculty”.
A two-day workshop on contemporary statistical methodology for research is on-going at the College of Agriculture Education of the University of Education, Winneba at the Asante Mampong Campus. The workshop, sponsored by NUFIC as part of the NICH 195-205 Project, started on July 5 2018 covering the following statistical areas:
• Common statistical pitfalls in scientific research
• Contemporary applied statistical tools for research
• Publishing data set as a complete journal article
• Stochastic distribution modeling of data
