Winneba and Ajumako Campuses hold Matriculation for 2018/19 Fresh Students

The University of Education, Winneba (UEW) on Friday, 12th October, 2018 held Matriculation ceremonies for the 2018/19 batch of fresh regular students on Winneba and Ajumako Campuses.

The Matriculation Ceremony which officially admitted fresh regular students into the University as Junior Members had three sessions on Winneba Campus and a session at Ajumako Campus. The Occasion also served as an attestation that the fresh regular students have, indeed, qualified to formally pursue their studies in UEW.

Soundflames! Soundflames!

As part of the activities to bridge the knowledge gap between academia and industry, the Department of Music Education,  University of Education Winneba is honouring Ghana's Legendary A. B. Crentsil for his contributions to the development of highlife music.

There will be a workshop and performance with students musicians  dubbed 'Going global with your Music', where A. B. Crentsil shares his professional experiences with the University Community.

The Gender Mainstreaming Directorate (UEW) as part of the Gender Week Celebration invites the University Community to a programme dubbed, ‘TIME WITH UNCLE EBO WHYTE’.

This programme is meant to enlighten staff and students on gender issues in society and how men and women as partners of development can support one another to flourish in life or be successful in our chosen endeavours.

Academic Counselors for 2018/19 Academic year Undergo Orientation

Newly appointed Academic Counsellors for the 2018/19 academic year on Winneba Campus underwent a day’s orientation at the Jophus Anamuah-Mensah Conference Centre, North Campus, Winneba on Wednesday, 3rd October, 2018.  

The orientation, organised by the Division of Human Resource (DHR) in collaboration with the Counseling Centre of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) was to equip all Academic Counsellors of the University to enhance their counselling skills.

1st Convocation Meeting for 2018/19 Academic year held

The University of Education, Winneba (UEW) on Wednesday, 26th September, 2018 held its first Convocation meeting for the 2018/19 academic year at Jophus Anamuah-Mensah Conference Centre, North Campus, Winneba. 

The meeting, happened to be the first after the Investiture and Induction of the fourth Vice-Chancellor, Rev. Fr. Prof. Anthony Afful-Broni and provided him with the opportunity to present his vision statement to Members of Convocation as part of his report on the state of the University.
