COLTEK SRC Donates to the College

The Students’ Representative Council (SRC) at the College of Technology Education, Kumasi (COLTEK) of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) has donated six mobile Public Address (PA) Systems and 20 large size litter bins to the College.

The donation of PA Systems and litter bins worth a total of GH₵ 12,000.00 was SRC’s contribution towards effective teaching and learning in a clean environment.

The INFOCTESS (Information And Communication Technology Students’ Society) Dinner and Awards Night is an annual event that recognizes and celebrates deserving students for their contributions to the Department of ICT Education, the University of Education, Winneba and the Country as a whole. The awards over the years has focused on Academic excellence for all levels (100 - 400) of the undergraduate programme, BSc. ICT Education.

UEW Expands Infrastructure for Staff and Students Well-being

Management of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) has cut sod for the construction of a Food Court (eatery) and has also commissioned two projects all at the University’s North Campus in Winneba. The two projects commissioned were Clothing Production Unit Block and Food Production Unit Restaurant. 

This is in fulfillment of Management’s dedication to improve infrastructure and provide a serene environment for efficient academic work as well as a conducive place of eating for the well-being of staff and students.

Scholarship Beneficiaries Spurred on to make Benefactors Proud

29 beneficiaries of the Pent Scholarship and Vodafone Ghana Foundation Scholarship from the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) have been spurred on to make worthy profits of the scholarships and to focus on their books to make themselves and the benefactors proud.

This advice was given at the Registrar’s Conference Room, North Campus, Winneba during an interaction session organised by the Gender Mainstreaming Directorate, UEW.

Lift of Ban on November, 2018 Graduands of the Department of French Education

The 2018 Graduating Students of the Department of French Education are hereby informed that the six-month ban which was imposed on them on 24th November, 2018 will elapse on Friday, 24th May, 2019.

Consequently, their certificates will be available for collection from Monday, 27th May, 2019. Please come along with any valid National Idenification Card and Clearance Chit.

ERP Project Verification Workshop

The Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Project Consultants will be onsite for verification of requirement workshop scheduled as follows:

Venue: Registrar's Conference Room, North Campus, Winneba.

 

The Workshop is mandatory and is aimed at ensuring that the required data is gathered for the smooth implementation of the Project.
