Ajumako SRC Donates to the College

The 2018/2019 Students’ Representative Council of the College of Languages Education, Ajumako Campus of the University of Education Winneba (UEW) has donated radio equipment to the College. This donation is in support of the College’s quest to establish a Campus Radio Station at the Ajumako Campus.

This is also part of Management’s efforts to connect all four UEW campuses via their stations in order to boost teaching and learning.

Eight UEW Students Visit University of Hamburg

Eight graduate students from the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) are visiting the University of Hamburg (UH) as part of collaborative arrangement between the Department of Psychology & Education, UEW and the Faculty of Education of UH. The students were drawn from the Centre for Human Rights, Conflict & Peace Studies, Departments of History, Political Science, Arts, English, Wood Technology (Kumasi Campus) as well as Psychology & Education.

UEW Hosts Israeli Ambassador to Ghana, Liberia and Sierra Leone

The University of Education, Winneba (UEW) on Monday, 3rdJune, 2019, hosted the Israeli Ambassador to Ghana, Liberia and Sierra Leone, Her Excellency (H. E.) Shani Cooper and a four member delegation from Project TEN at the Council Chamber, North Campus, UEW.

H. E. Shani Cooper’s visit to UEW is the first to any university in Ghana since her appointment as an Ambassador to the three West African nations.

UEW, LISAG Collaborate

Management of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) has on Thursday, 30th May, 2019 signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Licensed Surveyors Association of Ghana (LISAG) at the Council Chamber, North Campus, UEW.  

The agreement is intended to establish and strengthen scholarly, academic and professional links between the two institutions in the areas of consultancy, research, multidisciplinary industrial training and promotion of scholarship to enrich the human resource base of the respective institutions.

AES Supports Department of Economics Education

The 2018/19 executives of the Association of Economics Students (AES) have donated items worth GH₵ 7,000.00 to the Department of Economics Education. The items include three public address systems, two table top fridges, a podium, a set of jerseys, a football, five office chairs, backdrop for the association, six microphones and six pairs of microphone batteries.

This took place on Wednesday at the Faculty of Social Sciences Education (FSSE) Block, North Campus, Winneba.
