The Vice-Chancellor, Rev. Fr. Prof. Anthony Afful-Broni has stated that the welfare of staff and students of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) is valuable to Management hence, the continuous provision, construction and upgrade of facilities.

The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and the Department of Continuing Education and Education Management (we.b) at the Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg in Germany are jointly organising the DIES University Leadership and Management Training Programme UNILEAD in Oldenburg, enabling young managers at higher education institutions in developing countries to tackle successfully every-day challenges.
This is a 3-day event in which 40 faculty(opportunity for three(3) from Africa), through a course development and course modification proposals process, will be invited to come to New Orleans, Lousiana to work in groups of 3-5 with top experts from Duke, NYU, UC Berkley, Princeton, etc.

In 2007, the Academic Board of UEW approved a proposal for the appointment of Graduate Assistants in the various departments.
Though some departments have appointed Graduate Assistants who are helping in the teaching and research work of the departments, there is no document to guide their terms of engagement, hence the need to develop this hand book.
This book is intended to provide information about the various policies and procedures that are used for awarding graduate assistantship positions in UEW.
Fresh students admitted to pursue the maiden MBA Weekend Programme for the 2019/2020 Academic year are informed that the provisional Fees for the Course per semester is Three Thousand Five Hundred Ghana Cedis (GH₵3,500.00).
