Fees for Resit Examinations | 2019/2020 Academic Year

The Resit Examinations are scheduled to commence on Monday, 9th September and end on Friday, 13th September, 2019. The Academic Board has decided that, the fee for a resit paper is GHS20.00 per sitting. For two or more papers, the fee is GHS40.00 per sitting.

Affected continuing students are requested to make the payment into the School fees account at any of the designated banks and submit the pay-in-slip to the concerned Department for registration.

Senior Staff of COLTEK Schooled on Modern Trends in University Administration

The Department of Human Resource (DHR) at the College of Technology Education, Kumasi (COLTEK) of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) has organised a two-day workshop on current trends in University Administration for all senior staff of the College.

Participants were also exposed to various working Policy Documents of the UEW in a bid to refresh their memories in respect of their duties and responsibilities to the University as well as their rights and benefits.


Faculty of Education and Communication Sciences Strategises for Future Growth

The Faculty of Education and Communication Sciences (FECS) of the College of Technology Education, Kumasi (COLTEK) has organised a three-day workshop for its staff to prepare for the start of the 2019/2020 academic year and strategise towards the future growth of the Faculty.

The workshop, held at Obuasi in the Ashanti Region, offered the opportunity for long-drawn-out sessions for in-depth discussions into key issues, in addition to presentations on various strategic topics.


Five Public Universities and Affiliate Colleges of Education to Roll out new B. Ed Programme from October 2019

From October 2019, forty-six public Colleges of Education will collaborate with five public universities in the country to roll out the new B. Ed programme which was approved by the National Accreditation Board in July 2018. This was disclosed at a two day orientation workshop organized by T-Tel for communicators from the five participating public universities to explore ways to support the roadmap for the delivery of the B.Ed programme and to address emerging communication issues.


Disbursement of UEW Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship Fund - 2018/2019 Academic Year

The Management Board of the UEW Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship Fund is pleased to announce to the University community that per the recommendations received from the Scholarship Committee, the Board has awarded fresh scholarships to the under-listed students who applied for the 2018/2019 academic year.

Orientation for Fresh Distance Education Students Postponed

The Management of the Institute for Distance and e-Learning (IDeL), of the University of Education Winneba wishes to announce to the general public, especially our cherished successful applicants that the date for orientation of fresh Distance Education students has been postponed to Saturday, 24th August, 2019.

However, all other dates and activities for the IDeL academic calendar remain unchanged.
