The Gender Mainstreaming Directorate has held a two-day workshop on Successful Grant Proposal Writing for female Senior Members to build their capacity in winning grants for the University.
The Vice-Chancellor, Rev. Fr. Prof. Anthony Afful-Broni in his opening address, encouraged the Senior Members to develop the habit of writing proposals for grants to aid and improve their research and academic prowess.
The Institute for Educational Research and Innovation Studies (IERIS), UEW is organizing a two-day seminar to commemorate the World Teachers' Day on the theme "New Educational Policy Reforms in Ghana".
The programme will constitute a platform to exchange ideas relating to the new educational policies in Ghana.

The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), in collaboration with the German Unit of the University of Education, Winneba, is organising German Language Courses for both administrative and academic staff of the University.
The staff course “German for Beginners”, which is expected to run for the First Semester of the 2019/2020 Academic Year, is to give interested staff the opportunity to learn German with the mother tongue speakers.
The University of Education, Winneba (UEW) has today, Wednesday, 2nd October, 2019 matriculated a total of 13,754 registered students at the Winneba Campus of the University.
The ceremony, held at the Jophus Anamuah-Mensah Conference Centre Grounds, provided the opportunity for the freshmen to pledge their allegiance to the authority of the University through the administration of the Matriculation Oath.
