UEW Learning Management System Site Whitelisted by MTN Ghana and Vodafone Ghana

Management of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) wishes to inform Staff as well as students of the University that MTN Ghana and Vodafone Ghana have whitelisted our Online Learning Management System site (moodle.uew.edu.gh)

Consequently, users who access the Moodle with MTN or Vodafone sim card will not be charged.

Users especially, student-users are encouraged to log on and continue their academic work.

BEREAVEMENT

We wish to sadly announce the passing of Mrs. Mary Celestine Broni, the biological mother of the Vice-Chancellor, Rev. Fr. Prof. Anthony Afful-Broni. The sad event occurred at the Trauma & Specialist Hospital, Winneba on Thursday, 2nd April, 2020.

Admission into the Institute for Teacher Education and Continuing Professional Development (ITECPD) Programmes | 2020/2021

The Institute for Teacher Education and Continuing Professional Development University of Education, Winneba wishes to inform the public that application forms for admission into the 4-Semester Bachelor of Education in Early Grade/ Upper Primary/ JHS (Sandwich) for the 2020/2021 academic year are on sale and will continue until 1st June, 2020. The commencement date for the first semester 2020/2021 programme is 1st August to 5th September, 2020.

RE: A LETTER TO UEW MANAGEMENT AND SRC ON THE PURPORTED DEPLOYMENT OF THE ONLINE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (MOODLE)

On Wednesday April 1, 2020, Management received a letter on the above subject signed with the name: Evans Owu Jnr. Our checks confirmed his identity as a registered 3rd year Political Science student (one of our over 85, 000 students).  In the said letter, Mr. Evans Owu Jnr. made several unfounded and mischievous allegations and, as well, cast innuendos at our fully functional Moodle Learning Management System (LMS).
