UEW Graduate Heeds to the call to Create own Business

Graduates of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) are giving expression to the call by Management of the University in recent times to dare to create and build their own business, even if in small and humble ways.

One such is Mr. Nicholas Cudjoe. Mr. Nicholas Cudjoe pursued a degree programme in Graphic Design and graduated in 2018 with Second-Class Upper Division honours.  He is currently the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Nikhana Media.

UEW Endowment Trust Fund

The University of Education, Winneba (UEW) established the Endowment Trust Fund in October 2012 to support the future survival of the University’s business in terms of providing funding for teaching, learning, research, outreach and extension services. As part of the management processes of the Endowment Trust Fund, Trustees were appointed to manage and grow the Trust Fund in line with the Endowment Trust Fund Deed.

The funds that would be raised shall be used, among others to:

Department of Political Science Education Equips Assessment and Thesis Supervisors

The Department of Political Science Education has organised a supervision and assessment workshop for supervisors of the Department at the School of Creative Arts Conference Room, Central Campus, Winneba.

The workshop was meant to equip supervisors in producing quality students who can make outstanding research advancements to facilitate progress and support stuck thesis writing.
