T-TEL Reviews Project Implementation at UEW

A review meeting for the T-TEL Project Coordinating Team, Management of UEW and a Consultant from DFID has been held at the University of Education, Winneba on Tuesday 1st November, 2016.
The rationale for the meeting was to brainstorm and pick out ideas that will inform the future packaging and frameworking for the T-TEL project.

UEW Concludes Pact with AsanSka College of Design and Technology

The University of Education, Winneba has concluded a pact with AsanSka College of Design and Technology, Accra, at a ceremony held in UEW on Tuesday 1st November, 2016.

The Signing of the Pact is part of the requirement of the National Accreditation Board for Colleges to be affiliated to a mentoring University that would supervise the running of programmes. In his welcome address, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Mawutor Avoke remarked that the signing of the agreement concludes the partnership between the two institutions.

UEW Air Force Cadet Corp (AFCC) Embarks on Clean-up Campaign

The UEW-Air Force Cadet Corp (AFCC) whose core objectives are to instill discipline into members as well as the general student body; mount guard of honour parades during important UEW occasions—Congregation, Matriculation, Special Visits of Statesmen such as the President’s visits, etc.; assisting with School Security during official UEW occasions as well as student activities such as processions, durbars, beauty pageants, games, entertainment shows, elections, etc., has also gone a step ahead of the above core objectives, to organize a clean-up exercises to beautify the frontage of the ma

Applicants must

  • be academic staff of UEW, and must have been confirmed
  • be on a doctoral programme in UEW in any area relating to Education
  • be in the second or third year in the 2016/17 academic year.
  • Have successfully gone through proposal defense.

Exhibit professionalism in work delivery – Hall Mangers tell Hall Assistants

As part of the responsibilities of the Division of Human Resource to train personnel in the University, a two-day training programme has been organised for Hall Assistants from the various halls of residence of the University to equip them with the necessary skills in service delivery from 10th to 11th October, 2016.
