Department of Graphic Design Presents A Multimedia Exhibition Dubbed Rig It

RIG IT is an association within the Department of Graphic Design under the School of Creative Arts in the University of Education, Winneba. It was launched on the 18^th of February, 2019. The association is for students and alumni of the Department of Graphic Design – School of Creative Arts with profound interest in learning the latest and innovative trends in the multimedia industry. 

The multimedia exhibition is held every second semester of the academic year to showcase the multimedia works of students such as videos, animation, motion graphics etc. to the university community and stakeholders in the multimedia industry. There are also interactions between industry players and students in the form of discussions and seminar presentations. 

OUR MISSION

To serve as a link between students of the Graphic Design Department of UEW, alumni and the multimedia industry. To solve multimedia tasks and propose new trends to surmount challenges in the industry and also, to serve as a bridge between the creative industry and academia, where industry players and students have the opportunity to interact and share ideas for prospective growth, mentorship, and partnership thus the annual exhibition.

To be an internationally recognized association at the world stage, where foreign universities will be integrated in our various endeavours to reach greater coverage through collaborations.
