Data Link Institute Affiliates with UEW

Data Link Institute, Tema has concluded a pact with the University of Education, Winneba for institutional mentoring of the education programmes run at Data Link. The agreement was signed at a ceremony held on 8th November, 2016 at the University of Education, Winneba.

The Vice-Chancellor of UEW, Professor Mawutor Avoke said the signing of the agreement has been long-awaited. He indicated that UEW was committed to its affiliations with institutions and will ensure that its fulfills its part of the agreements. He commended Data Link Institute for successfully going through the affiliation process and urged them to abide by the terms of the agreements to ensure high academic standards.

Speaking on behalf of Data Link Institute, the Executive Chair, Mr. Ernest Ansah expressed appreciation to UEW for accepting to mentor the Institute. He indicated their readiness to fulfill the requirements of the affiliation.

The Registrar of UEW, Dr. C.Y. Akwaa-Mensah stated that institutional measures have been put down to strengthen systems and to ensure that standards in education were not compromised. He indicated that a schedule has been compiled on visits to affiliated institutions which were being followed.

Signing on behalf of UEW was Professor Mawutor Avoke, witnessed by Dr. C.Y. Akwaa-Mensah. Signing for Data Link Institute was the Executive Chair, Mr. Ernest Ansah, witnessed by the Vice-President for Institutional Advancement, Mrs. Ingrid Ansah.

Present at the signing of the MOU were the Pro-Vice Chancellor, Rev. Fr. Prof. Anthony Afful-Broni, the University Librarian, Mr. Viscount N. Buer and the Vice-President for Academic Affairs, Data Link Institute, Dr. Benjamin Ghansah
