Division of Human Resource Refreshes Skills of Examination Officers

The Division of Human Resource (DHR) in partnership with the Time Table Committee has organised a day’s orientation for all Examination Officers and Graduate Coordinators to equip them with the necessary skills to discharge their duties.
The orientation, which was moderated by Junior Assistant Registrar at DHR, Mr. Isaac Darkoh, was held at the North Campus Mini-Conference Room, Winneba, on Monday, 11th October, 2021.

The Deputy Registrar of DHR, Mrs. Deborah Afful, in her welcome and purpose for the orientation address stated, “it’s a pleasure seeing you refreshed from your compulsory leave. You’re welcome back”.
She projected, “colleagues, this morning, our work here is very simple. It’s a well-known fact that to enable you to work successfully, you require set skills and competencies to do your work. So, the Time Table Committee in collaboration with the Division of Human Resource has put together this orientation to update you on your work”.
She entreated the Examination Officers and Graduate Coordinators to fully partake in the discussions to have an efficacious orientation.

Senior Assistant Registrar at the Division of Academic Affairs (DAA), Mr. Raymond Bentum Boison made a detailed and incisive presentation on the topic “What the Students Records Office expects from Examination Officers and Graduate Coordinators” whereas Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Social Sciences Education, Mr. Cletus Ngaaso took participants through “role of Examination Officers/Graduate Coordinators”.
The orientation was very interactive as participants sought further clarifications on issues impeding their work. The two facilitators adeptly addressed all their concerns.
Also present at the orientation were Senior Assistant Registrar, DAA, Mrs. Ekua Abedi-Boafo; Assistant Registrar, DAA, Mr. Titus Nii Aryeetey; Junior Assistant Registrar, DAA, Mr. Charles Addo; and Senior Administrative Assistant, DHR, Ms. Adelaide Boateng.
