Division of Publications and Communication Welcomes Mr. Asafo-Adjei

The Division of Publications and Communication has today, Monday, 8^th April, 2019, held a meeting to officially introduce and welcome the Deputy Registrar of the Division, Mr. Kofi Asafo-Adjei.

The meeting, which took place at the Registrar’s Conference Room, North Campus, Winneba, also created the avenue for staff of the Division to familiarise themselves with  the Deputy Registrar.

Mr. Asafo-Adjei, formerly the College Registrar for Asante-Mampong, was transferred to head the Division of Publications and Communication during the last Registrar’s transfer in February, 2018. Mr. Asafo-Adjei was on an annual leave at the time, as a result, the Head, Department of Publishing and Web Development, Mr. Jerry Addison Anyan held the fort for the period.

Mr. Anyan, who chaired the meeting, recounted the experiences of Mr. Asafo-Adjei in the University.

Mr. Asafo-Adjei in his address to members of staff said that the Division constituted the front desk of the University and as such stressed the need to support each other to project a positive image for the University.

“Publishing is about content. Communication reflects who you are. Let us bear in mind that perfection is not a human attribute therefore, as a Division we need to collaborate and support each other in our field of work so that we can achieve our core mandate,” he said.

Among the Senior Members present at the meeting were the Webmaster, Mr. Jojoe Annan and the Manager, Radio Windy Bay, Mr. Jones Appiah Kubi. Also present were staff and National Service Personnel of the Division.
