Launching of Laboratory Equipment Purchased by NICHE/GHA/195 Project

As part of activities to promote education in Ghana, the NICHE/GHA/195 project procured a state of the art laboratory equipment for the College of Agriculture Education of the University of Education, Winneba, Mampong Campus.

The Acting Principal of the College, Prof. James K. Kagya-Agyemang, on behalf of the Vice-Chancellor of the University cut the tape to launch the State of the Art Laboratory Equipment. He was assisted by Marie Josepha Hermine (Project Director for MDF-Netherlands), Prof. S.Y. Annor (Dean, Faculty of Agriculture Education), Dr. Emmanuel Dartey (Dean Faculty of Science and Environment Education/Manager NICHE Project), Dr. Richard Amankwah Kuffour (Co-ordinator, NICHE Project), Prof. Kofi Agyarko (Former Manager, NICHE Project) and Mr. Kofi Asafo Adjei (College Registrar).

Prof. Kagya-Agyemang thanked the Project Director of NICHE and donors of NUFFIC, Netherlands for their kind gesture and promised that the College will take very good care of the laboratory equipment. Some of the laboratory equipment are: Negative 20 Refrigerator, Negative 80 Refrigerator, Potolab, High Performance Liquid (HPL) Chromatography, Freeze Dryer, Ice Cube Maker, Shaker Orbital, Miller, Automatic Absorption Spectrometer 400 (AAS 400),Suction Pump and Organic Analyser
