Library Workshop – Online Cataloging and Accessing E-resources

The College Library has organized a workshop for all staff from Ajumako Campus. The Workshop was held on the 15 November, 2017 at the Video Conferencing Room at Ajumako Campus.

It was expected that participants would get much knowledge on how to access E-resources and further disseminate their new knowledge which will help improve research outputs of researchers and research groups in the College.

Opening the Workshop on the theme “Online Cataloging and Accessing E-resources”, the College Librarian, Mr. Francis Andoh - Mensah advised the participants to ensure that they practiced what they learnt, as that was the key to retaining the knowledge and imparting to library users, especially researchers.

Among others, the topics treated included “referencing management”, “Google Suite for research”, “WINNOPAC: an Online Catalogue”, and “Institutional repository”. The Workshop was facilitated by Prof. Ephraim Avea Nsoh, Ms. Mary Kuranchie, Ms. Patricia Hammond, Mr. Nathaniel Ayiku and Ms. Portia Nkrumah.
