Press Release | General Members of UTAG-UEW Disagree with their President

The general members of UTAG-UEW have today 24^th July, 2019 dissociated itself from what it describes as a coup d’etat-like Press Release issued by Dr. Frimpong Kaakyire Duku, President of UTAG-UEW and his executives purporting to support a rather weird, scandalous and most frivolous position of a self-declared reinstatement of former Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Mawutor Avoke and some dismissed staff of the varsity.

Among the key reasons adduced for the disassociation of members from the press release were that such a major decision should have come out of a consensus or majority decision of the body at a general meeting and that same matter is pending before the Cape Coast High Court 2 for determination.
