He donated at a short presentation ceremony at the Registrar’s Conference Room, North Campus, Wiineba.  Rev. Dr. Joseph Ewoodzie, who also happens to be an indigene of Winneba, said he was inspired to do the donation, on one gloomy winter day in New York whilst watching a programme on CNN.

“They showed Kits that had been created in Ghana by a Ghanaian and I was taken aback, and hopefully this tool can enhance the study of Science, something I didn’t get and perhaps it is time for me to help someone to get that opportunity”, he revealed.

He remarked that he believed every child who is interested in Science should be persuaded to make use of this instrument to enhance their education hence his decision to come to UEW.

Rev. Dr. Ewoodzie added that, in his efforts to find persons who could benefit from the use of then Science Kits, he connected with several individuals and institutions in Ghana but Prof. Ruby Hanson and UEW management have received him well.
