Rev. Kwame Nkrumah Hope Donates School Desks to Methodist J.H.S, Jamasi
A Lecturer at the Department of Crop and Soil Sciences Education and Chaplain of the College of Agriculture Education, Mampong-Ashanti Campus, Rev. Hope Kwame Nkrumah has led the congregants of Mt. Sinai Methodist Church to donate 20 Mono Desks to the Methodist Junior High School (JHS) at Jamasi.
Rev. Kwame Nkrumah who is also the Sessional Minister in charge of Mt. Sinai Methodist Church made the donation at a service dedicated to the celebration of teachers of Jamasi Educational Unit in the Ashanti Region.
In a sermon delivered by a local preacher of the Methodist Church, Kona Circuit, from the scriptures of Isaiah 40:1-11, 2Peter 3:8-15 and Mark 1:1-8, Mr. Kwabi said that the congregants ought to live a holy and a godly life as they looked forward to the day that the Lord would return. He added that, that day would bring about destruction of the heavens by fire and the elements would melt in the heat.
Rev. Nkrumah thanked the teachers for availing themselves to train the pupils to become responsible members of the church as well as responsible citizens of the state.
“I appreciate your efforts for the time spent to train our children to be responsible future leaders of this church.” He said.
He advised them to continue with the good works that they have started and urged them not to rest until the world comes to an end.
