Brief Background
A few years ago, SSA-UoG was known as Federation of Universities Senior Staff Association of Ghana (FUSSAG) but in 2017, the local leadership of five public universities staged a break away from FUSSAG as a result of the national leadership’s failure to deliver on its core mandate.
The new leadership for the UEW Chapter have undertaken major initiatives. Among them were acquisition of 54 hectares of land for members at Gomoa Nyekuadze and the introduction of educational fund policy for members.
