UEW Co-Operative Credit Ltd rated among the best in Ghana
The Central Regional Manager of Credit Unions has rated the University of Education, Winneba Coporate Credit Union Ltd. among the best Credit Unions in the Central Region. He made this observation at the opening of a three day seminar for its Board of Directors and Committees which begun on Wednesday 21st June 2017. The three day workshop will equip them with new ideas and information for the growth of the Union.
The Chairman of UEW Credit Union Board Mr. Steve van Kamassah in his opening remarks reminded participants that, as policy makers, they will have to seek the growth of the union at all times.
Mr. Emmanuel Darko, one of the facilitator of the seminar advised them to reach out to more people by being innovative and adopt relevant technologies in their operations. This he explained will help many more people access the services of the Credit Union quickly and also make the Union competitive in the financial market.
He enlightened the participants on issues concerning the Credit Union Boards world-wide, how to brand the organisation and effective strategies various committees and boards could adopt to optimize their output.
