UEW holds Pre-Academic Orientation for Fresh Students

A one week pre–intensive academic orientation programme to welcome fresh students has commenced at the Winneba campus of the University of Education, Winneba.

The orientation has been scheduled from Wednesday, 24th August to Friday, 2nd September, 2016. The eight day rigorous programme has various facilitators presenting on many vital topics to enlighten students on all areas pertaining to their stay on campus.

The orientation presentations include the following topics:

• “Challenges and Opportunities for Fresh Students,
• Health Services,
• UEW Endowment Fund,
• Counselling Services in UEW,
• Internet Connectivity,
• Banking and Financial Services” amongst others.

The programme which is organized by the Office of the Dean of Student Affairs comprises seated presentations and library tours.
