UEW, LISAG Collaborate

Management of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) has on Thursday, 30th May, 2019 signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Licensed Surveyors Association of Ghana (LISAG) at the Council Chamber, North Campus, UEW.  

The agreement is intended to establish and strengthen scholarly, academic and professional links between the two institutions in the areas of consultancy, research, multidisciplinary industrial training and promotion of scholarship to enrich the human resource base of the respective institutions.

Areas of the cooperation include assistance in identification and selection of potential graduate trainees and interns from the Department of Geography Education, UEW for LISAG members across the country; acceptance and provision of practical training for Geography students at the facilities of LISAG; joint-evaluation of graduates, interns’ and students’ performances by LISAG and Department of Geography Education during training attachments; and designing short courses or practical training programmes for the members of LISAG to upgrade the manpower requirements of LISAG.

Birikorang.
