University Hall Undertakes Maiden National Sanitation Exercise
The Management of University Hall in collaboration with the Hall Executives on Saturday, 2nd November, 2019 undertook a clean-up exercise to mark the National Sanitation Day. The exercise saw the full participation of both staff and students in the hall cleaning gutters, scrubbing the washrooms as well as weeding in and around the hall.

The Hall Manager, Mr. Robert Tetteh Mensah expressed overwhelming excitement and contentment towards the massive and active involvement of staff, hall executives and students in making the clean-up exercise a success.
He commended the hall executives for their unflinching effort to mobilise students and staff for the exercise. He urged the executives to add the initiative to their action plan and observe it either monthly or quarterly. He admonished students in the hall to never compromise on cleanliness, for it is as necessary as food and water.
Mr. Mensah entreated colleague Hall Managers to follow the footsteps of University Hall and implement similar initiative to their occupants.
The President, University Hall, Mr. Derick Nana Kwame Dzikunu in his address, implored members of the hall to take cleanliness seriously and ensure proper use and maintenance of the facilities in the hall. “The observance of the National Sanitation Day has come to stay and it will be observed in the hall accordingly,” he affirmed.

The observance was part of efforts to reduce insanitary conditions in and around the hall, thus, providing a healthy environment to facilitate effective learning at the hall.
