UEW Female Staff and Student Leaders Entreated to Aspire for Activity-oriented Work

Female staff and student leaders in the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) have been entreated to go for activity-oriented work that is more visible, accept critical responsibilities, take up heavily packed assignments that lead to promotions and market themselves to the top.

Research and Innovation will be the Heart of Education in Ghana – H. E. Pres. Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo.

The President of the republic of Ghana, H. E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo has reverberated the government’s commitment to provide quality education to Ghanaians by making research and innovation the heart of education in Ghana.

He said this when he graced the second session of the 21st Congregation of the University of Education, Winneba at the Jophus Anamoah-Mensah Conference Centre on Saturday, July 29, 2017.

UEW Commemorates Ghana National History Day

The 2017 Ghana National History Day (GNHD) was marked on the theme, "Taking a Stand in History". The idea is to make history more engaging and help increase interest in knowing our past as Ghanaians. This theme helped participants to think about people, ideas and events that indicate a stand taken in the past, how relevant it is for history and what lessons can be learnt for the future. The main activities included a national history contest and sensitization on the relevance of history.
